BJ's Response to "Sunday"

Mark's story, "Sunday" was about a husband coming home to find his wife dead. The husband has a drinking problem and comes home late often due to his work load. I enjoyed this read. It took a brief interesting view into career v.s. love, and the battles that professionals face. I love parts like "The knob is at five. I set it to ten." It makes it more appealing to how he turned the doorknob. Roe has a unique way of saying simple things in a way that captures me or reels me back in. I find that makes for a good read. The only suggestion I had was to key the reader in more with the timeline. I was not confused but i felt rushed. First we're at the door, then in the kitchen then retracing steps. It all felt so instant. I wanted to slow it down a bit so i could take it all in. But as always i thank him for the unexpected dead wife in the house. I thought to myself, what will he think of next. And there it was.
