Reading the poems, “Broken Heart,” and “Love Kills Slowly,” reminds me of the vast and seemingly insurmountable void that exists between men and women.
They speak to me of a love that has gone awry, and of a lover who feels abandoned and left out. This is probably the most complicated and perplexing subject to ever vex the heart and mind of humanity. It is very thought provoking and makes me wonder how I would feel if someone I knew was in this situation.
I think that perhaps I would feel compassion for them, and at the same time I might wonder why they didn’t see this coming.
Love,
So good,
So bad,
So complex.
