Tara's Response To Sunday

It took me three times reading this to completely understand what was going on. I think it was an excellent story and it seems so real. A man getting off work than goes to the bar to get wasted, and comes home to see a beautiful dinner set by his finance, but finds that she killed herself. It sounds like something you would see on Desperate Housewives. The man in the story is stupid if he thought that he could keep living like this and his girl accepting it. In the story Sellers said Amanda is a nurse which means she probably works long hours and expects to come home to relax with the guy. She was so upset that he didn't come home that night for dinner, but my question is, did he go out and drink every night? Why would see expect him home if he did? Why are men so oblivious to what women really want. She obviously was trying hard to get his attention opening that bottle of wine that was suppose to be used for a special occasion. I wonder if she wanted to tell him something that night, which is why she opened it. Maybe she was just sick of living the life she was which is why she opened it because she wanted her husband to come home to a perfect steak dinner, but also seeing that she killed herself. I think she was just too unhappy and he was blind to it.
